Give Today (YMCA Annual campaign 2023)
I'm reaching out to share with you what I've learned about the incredible work that the Y is doing to help support our community, both within and outside the walls of the Y facility.
The Y has been an ever-present anchor in Silicon Valley for more than 150 years, strengthening community by empowering youth, encouraging healthy living, and supporting our neighbors. The positive impact of the YMCA is needed now more than ever.
From food security to wellness, recreating to learning, the Y is here to help youth, families, adults, and seniors to thrive.
The Y provides essential programs and services to meet critical needs in our community, such as food distribution for youth and seniors; after school and summer learning programs in partnership with local schools; summer enrichment and overnight camps; wellness programs that help maintain health and well-being or support those with chronic disease (Parkinson’s Disease, cancer, pre-diabetes, etc.); programs that help develop social and emotional learning for youth, prevent bullying; and more.
With support from generous donors, the YMCA Annual Campaign helps ensure that the Y can provide financial assistance and program subsidy to ensure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has access to essential Y services and opportunities to help them learn, grow and thrive.
When I founded MG Photography, I made a goal to dedicate services for giving back to our community and supporting those in need. The YMCA has done incredible ground-breaking work in helping to support our community through 3 core tenets: Healthy living, Youth development, and Social responsibility.
